Our checklist approach
Squad Wooden Carousl is an independent educational website for small-workplace supervisors and team leads who want a clearer way to notice conditions and follow up.
A notebook, not a certificate
We organize guidance around the places and tasks a supervisor can discuss with a team: walking routes, workstations, stored materials and emergency information. Each round connects an observation to a next action, a responsible role and a check of the result.
We do not award safety scores, inspect premises or certify compliance. Our examples are illustrative and cannot cover every workplace, hazard or jurisdiction. They should help you ask better questions, including when a question needs someone with specialist competence.
How we use references
The guides link to official resources from organizations such as OSHA, NIOSH and HSE. We distinguish U.S. and Great Britain contexts rather than treating guidance from one jurisdiction as a universal rule.
External references are starting points for further review. Requirements and guidance can change. Check the current source, the rules applicable to your location and the instructions governing the actual equipment or process.
What we do not claim
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of OSHA, NIOSH, HSE or the other organizations referenced. Their names identify the sources, not a partnership.
We do not provide legal, medical, engineering or occupational-hygiene advice. We do not claim that a short round establishes exposure levels, system performance or fitness for use.
Help improve an explanation
If a passage is unclear or a reference needs attention, identify the page and the wording involved. Avoid sending personal information, incident files or confidential workplace records. The contact page provides an editorial email address and a local observation-writing tool.
For urgent workplace concerns, use your organization’s reporting arrangements or the relevant emergency service. This site does not monitor workplace conditions or provide an emergency response.
